Reporting to the Practice Administrator, incumbent will provide patient navigator services and professional administrative support to ColumbiaDoctors/NewYork-Presbyterian Imaging. Work closely with the front desk team and clinical supervisors to assist in their workflows. Manage the daily activities of the various modalities, including but not limited to: coordinating patient care, helping with care gap closures, coordinating meeting schedules; managing high volume phone lines, responding to routine inquiries and providing information follow-up support.
Providing support to patients, including scheduling patient appointments with providers, and call backs for patients based on Birads classification.
Helping with gap closures: monitor care management programs’ phone line, triaging patients to appropriate care managers and providers to fill gaps in care.
Increases continuity of care by managing relationships with referring provider, transitions care from diagnostic services to procedural services as required.
Schedule Breast biopsies and confirm results with referring physicians.
Monitor and track mammography/ultrasound patients to improve workflow efficiencies.
Develop and manage patient databases.
Track, order and maintain office supplies, furniture and computers.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum three years of physician practice; IDX/EPIC, medical billing experience, radiology preferable
