The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist performs all of the photography and angiography for the department of Ophthalmology. This includes clinic and COC patients. The department is currently utilizing digital imaging systems to acquire these images. Thus a strong background is a must. Photographers report directly to the Director of Ophthalmic Diagnostic Imaging and to the office manager of each clinical site.
Optical Coherence Tomography
Specular Biomicroscopy including Confocal Imaging
HRT Analyzer (glaucoma)
Assist with weekly conferences (FA conference, Grand Rounds)
B.S. in Biomedical Photography or 1 year experience in Ophthalmic photography
Some Knowledge of Ophthalmic Terminology/Pathology
